According to a report by the College Board (Sources: The College Board, Profile of College-Bound Seniors National Report for 2000, 2001, and 2002), students who study the arts scored on average 25 points higher in both the verbal and non-verbal sections of their SATs. And on a list that looks even further into this group of students of the arts, “Music Study and Appreciation” students scored highest!
